About us

A lodge born from one woman’s courage.

Maria Edineis, known as Nena, left Brasília and arrived in Alta Floresta, Mato Grosso, in 1998. She spent years working hard on the land and in cattle ranching, caring for the soil, the herd and the people around her.

In 2018, she decided to start over. She turned a property on the banks of the São Benedito and Azul rivers, in Jacareacanga, Pará, into a sport fishing destination with a clear purpose: to show that tourism and conservation can go hand in hand.

Today, Jundiá welcomes anglers from all over Brazil and from other countries. Every guest is received the way Nena has always received people: with a generous table, good conversation and attention to every detail.

Responsible fishing

Here, every peacock bass goes back to the river.

At Jundiá, fishing is 100% catch and release. That is why the river stays full of big fish, season after season.

You take home the photo, the story and the memory of the fight. The fish stays there, waiting for the next angler and for the generations to come.

Lodge and all-inclusive package

You fish. We take care of everything else.

After a full day on the river: a good shower, a hearty dinner, cold beer and stories about the fish of the day. From breakfast to the last round of the night, everything is included.
